 Philosophy

We believe that children are naturally curious and are born with a desire to explore their environment.  At Eyes on the Future, we capitalize on their natural impulse to learn by providing stimulating environments that invite exploration as well as intentionally planning learning experiences that help children to construct their own knowledge.  This is facilitated by a warm and caring relationship with their teachers and anchored in evidence-based practice.

Guidance Philosophy

We believe that a child's social and emotional development is crucial to their success in life.  Therefore, our program utilizes positive guidance to help children develop important social skills such as interacting positively with their peers, making and keeping friends, joining others in play, empathy, and expressing emotions appropriately.  Teachers facilitate the development to these skills using guidance techniques such as having an individual relationship with each child, modeling and encouraging positive behaviors, and setting clear limits.
