Eyes on the Future Programs

Eyes on the Future offers a variety of educational programs for children ages 3 months to 12 years.  These programs include infant/toddler, before and afterschool and our summer program.

Infant/Toddler Program

Our infant/toddler program is built around the idea that children's learning flourishes in the context of a warm and consistent relationship with their teachers.  This is why we implement a model called Continuity of Relationships, where children and teachers stay together from infancy until the age of three.  This cultivates strong bonds while reducing the stress that comes from transitioning children each year.

In terms of a curriculum, we use The Creative for Infants, Toddlers, & Twos, a research-based cirriculum that is aligned with the Illinois Early Learning Guidelines. As well as School Readiness Goals for Infants and Toddlers in Head Start.  This curriculum emphasizes individualizing experiences for each child and partnering with families to support children's learning and development.

We understand the importance of ensuring that your children have a safe and nurturing place to spend their out of school time.  At Eyes on the Future's before and after school program, children are provided with hot meals, homework help, and fun activities.  We walk children to school in the morning and pick them up when school is out.  We are also open when CPS elementary schools are closed (breaks, holidays, school improvent days).

Summer Program

We offer an exciting summer program for school-age children (up to 12 years old).  We have many fun-filled activities such as kickball, soccer, drama, knitting, photography, cooking, and weekly field trips.  We also have exciting clubs such as drama, knitting, art, photography, and cooking.  Hot meals and activities are included in the program!
